The Samsung U600 is a slim & stylish slider opening mobile phone which is a member of the Samsung Ultra Edition II range. The handset is known as the Samsung U600 which is due to its casing being only 10.9mm in thickness.
Samsung Mobile Phone Review:-
Yourmobilephonereviews about Samsung SGH-U600 Review:- Had this phone since September & was very impressed with at first. Great looking & very slim phone.
After a while though you begin to find out this phone’s faults. MP3 player is slow to respond to controls, takes forever to update once songs have been updated & the battery life is poor.
Also the most annoying thing is that the display has now decided to show in mirror image, upside down or just a plain white screen at random.
I do like this phone but feel that Samsung should have put more effort into making the phone more reliable.
Reviews.cnet about Samsung SGH-U600 Review:- The phone is poor quality and not what one would expect from Samsung, battery will last for 3 days even if you don’t use it, Samsung say 270 hours standby, talk time is about 40 minutes from a charge, Samsung say 4 hours, and very flimsy build. The phone is ok if you have a socket in your pocket to keep it plugged in, not very mobile, the screen will say LIMITED SERVICE most of the time yet you can put another phone next to it and have full Orange network.
Good points it light and thin and easy to use.
Mobileburn about Samsung SGH-U600 Review:- In terms of its physical aspects, I am quite pleased with the U600, with the exception of the touch sensitive keys and slightly tricky slider. The design is really conservative, meaning that not a lot of people should find reason to complain. On the other hand, not a lot of people are going to be wildly impressed, either. Unlike the Motorola RAZR, for example, the U600 doesn’t stand out when seen from afar.
Trustedreviews about Samsung SGH-U600 Review:- On the plus side, the navigation button is large and comfortable to use. Its silver frame makes it easy to find, and it is raised very slightly from the rest of the casing on a rather nice upward curve. When you are on the home screen pressing the navigation button up gives you access to five applications, while pressing it down takes you to the calendar, left to new SMS creation and right to the music player. You can change these to suite your needs.
The screen measures 2.2 inches corner to corner and delivers 262,000 colours and 240 x 320 pixels. There is a setting for sunlight that alters the colour scheme and does indeed make the display a bit clearer in bright sunlight. You can also choose either a black or white ‘skin’.
