Samsung Juke SCH-U470 Review
The Samsung Juke for Verizon is a cool little phone that makes calls, plays music, and tucks away almost unnoticed in a pocket or purse. Featuring two gigabytes of built-in
storage, a front-mounted scroll wheel for navigating through your music library and contacts list, and a unique switchblade design, Juke is small, slick, and easy to use.
Music quality is good but lacks the strong bass of the Sony Ericsson W580i. The volume on our headset was low; even in a quiet room we had to push the volume up to its median setting. The phone works with stereo Bluetooth headsets, but the included in-ear buds are comfortable and deliver decent sound, even though the adapter dangles awkwardly just below the neck. Oddly, you can only launch the music player when the phone is open, but you need to close it to browse your library. The music automatically pauses for incoming calls, but the player also froze occasionally, requiring us to plug the phone into a computer to regain control.
Using the music player feature is nice, as the Samsung Juke comes with a scroll wheel that makes it different from many other competition phones. The music playlist information is displayed on both the external screen and the internal one, and there was some irritation with the way you have to continually swing the phone upside down and back depending on whether or not you have it open or closed. It was a little strange, but probably wouldn’t take long to get used to.

Summary-:
The good: The Samsung Juke SCH-U740 is a sexy, fashionable phone with an unusual design. It has an easy-to-use mechanical scroll wheel, plus features such as a built-in music player.
The bad: The Samsung Juke SCH-U740 is sadly lacking in features, with no 3G or V Cast support and no expandable memory slot. There’s no video camera, plus it has a few annoying design flaws such as slick buttons and the need to turn the phone upside down to read the screen when it’s closed.
The bottom line: The Samsung Juke SCH-U740 is a very stylish phone that will turn heads when you’re out on the town, but its lack of features ultimately disappoints.
