6626-01n82.jpgThe Nokia N82 is the latest high-end imaging-focused device from the Finnish manufacturer. With a Xenon flash, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, and video capture at 30 frames per second, the Nokia N82 is set to replace the venerable N73 in the Nseries imaging lineup. Going back to the candy bar form factor that Nokia is known for, does the Nokia N82 set the benchmark high for other multimedia handsets?

Nokia N82 Reviews From mobile-phones

Got the black N82 on Orange. A little apprehensive as I have had Orange branded mobiles before and they were horrid. However this N82 has a discreet Orange logo on the back (5mm x 5mm) and I have removed the Orange software. However you can deselect the Orange sidebar and use the standard version if you prefer. I actually have an N95 - 8GB too and I prefer the candy bar styling of the N82. The camera is better IMO than the N95 especially when using the flash. I’ve added an 8GB Sandisk Micro SDHC card and the sound quality from the Music Player is superb. I’ve had no crashes, quality is high and it has a brighter screen than my N95. Overall I’m very impressed with the N82.

Nokia N82 Reviews From cnet

The good: The Nokia N82 features a 5-megapixel camera that produces high-quality photos and videos. The Symbian smartphone also has integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and good call quality.

The bad: The N82’s hardware feels a bit cheap, and the dialpad and navigation controls are cramped and difficult to use. It also doesn’t support U.S. 3G bands and it’s pricey.

The bottom line: The Nokia N82 has some annoying design flaws and lacks 3G support, but our lasting impression of the N82 is of a powerful multimedia smartphone with an excellent imaging capabilities and solid performance.
