V9’s hottest feature, CrystalTalk (Motorola’s new voice technology), doesn’t show up on the screen. Similar to the latest noise-cancellation technology on Bluetooth headsets, CrystalTalk uses the phone’s microphone to sample background noise, and adjusts both the equalization and volume of sound in the earpiece to compensate. It works similar magic with speech being transmitted through the mic, as well. I found conversations audible in both directions even when I was standing next to a mobile paper shredder truck.

Summary-:

The good:
The Motorola Razr2 V9 is a fabulous-looking phone clad in steel and glass. It has HSDPA support plus a 2-megapixel camera, a music player, and good sound quality and battery life.

The bad: The Motorola Razr2 V9 has skinny side buttons and a rather flat keypad. We also wished there were one-push access to the music player plus one for the speakerphone.

The bottom line:
The Motorola Razr2 V9 is a great successor to the first Razr. Despite a few quibbles, it has an eye-catching design, solid performance, and an impressive feature set.
