LG KF700 Review
The LG KF700 is another stylish phone that the company churned out during the recently concluded Mobile World Congress. The LG KF700 has three input methods: touch screen, alpha-numeric keypad, and shortcut dial.
Multimedia features include a 3 mega pixel multi-functional camera, video player, secondary front mounted videocall camera, Stereo FM Radio and an MP3 player with support for multiple audio formats.
The LG KF700 offers bluetooth and other features such as Google Search, Maps and the facility to upload images and videos direct to blogsites and YouTube.
LG KF700 Review taken from Cnet “It’s also a delightfully capable handset, and visually akin to the Prada when the keypad is stowed behind the screen — “No bad thing,” you might say. Inside there’s a 3-megapixel camera, HSDPA (3.5G) connectivity, full Web-browsing functionality, video playback and full access to Google’s blogs, email, maps and YouTube services. It’ll be out in mid-March for an undisclosed price, as it’ll be network-dependent. Our man on the scene, Andrew Lim, just fingered, prodded and squeezed his way through the KF700 out in Barcelona. You’ll find his magnificent photos and reports ASAP here on Crave. LG KF700 Review taken from mobilereleases “The LG KF700 is LG’s response to the Apple iPhone and from first impressions LG are giving the iPhone a real challenge.
Elegantly designed, this multimedia slider offers a unique interface with 3 seperate touch related input methods, each with designated functionality and automatically asserted for the task at hand.
In the picture you can instantly see the virtual shortcut dial on its 3 inch touch sensitive screen, for which there is a corresponding scroll wheel positioned on the back of the phone, alternatively slide the screen upwards to reveal an alpha-numeric keypad”
LG KF700 Review taken from Mobilerand “If you like the traditional phone pad on mobile phones, you’ll be glad that the LG KF700 sports an alpha numeric keypad rather than a QWERTY keypad which is commonly found on most smartphones today. According to LG, this new phone is capable of full web browsing and users can zoom in and out of web pages using the LG KF700’s shortcut dial.Other features on the LG KF700 includes: 3G and HSDPA capable, MP3 player and MP4 player, 3.0 mega pixel camera and Bluetooth, among others. This new LG phone will be available in Europe starting March”
LG KF700 Review taken from infosyncworld” We probably would have been more impressed by the LG KF700’s touch interface if we hadn’t seen nearly the same concept on LG’s Prada phone. But even if the interface doesn’t wow you, the advanced specs should. Beyond the high-end camera and fast networking, the LG KF700 boasts a slide-out keypad as well as a nice thumb wheel around back. Neither really helped the experience much in our hands-on tests, mostly because the interface was just about as easy to use without them. Still, a QWERTY keyboard is what we really wanted, and with all the other phones announced at the show, we’re sure we can find such a design elsewhere. Release: March 2008.
