LG KF600 Venus Reviews

The LG KF600 is a sibling of the North American LG Venus from Verizon Wireless, and represents the company’s experiment to combine the touch interface with the traditional button-based interface. Just to add a little twist to the traditional touch-pad, LG replaced it with small touchscreen display that is able to morph with respect to the running applications. Today with this review, we will weigh this new experience between fashion and functionality with the KF600 from LG.
This is a great phone, it looks & feels good, it’s different i.e. the touch screen that is very responsive & the battery life is good. I am waiting for a memory card so I can fit more tunes & photos on but you can get these cheap off eBay. I would recommend a screen protector as it does leave finger prints all over the front screen. I am also very conscious about dropping it because I don’t think it would stand a big impact unlike other phones. Apart from this well it’s great & it comes highly recommended.
Bought this phone this morning having had a Sony Ericsson W850i for nearly a year and have to say I am mightily impressed! I’ve read some bad reviews about the dual screen setup, and at first I had my doubts, but after a few hours playing around with it, it’s like second nature! The only slight tiny quibble I have is that you can only use zoom in VGA mode, but the camera is a lot better than what I’ve been used to. The speakers are very loud, calls are crystal clear and it’s very easy to import, file and sort pictures, videos and music. Another slight quibble is that it doesn’t say who’s text you when it comes up with ‘one new message’, but that’s really just a minor personal thing I got used to with my previous phones.
Features
The InteractPad is a quirky feature that’s integral to the handset’s usability. Elsewhere, the feature set is distinctly mid-range. The three-megapixel camera is a plus, but the lack of 3G is a shame. Although the display is large and undisturbed by any unsightly keys, a good third is taken up by the virtual InteractPad

Good Points: The dual screen adapts to your uses and that’s cool!
Bad Points: Maybe the price of the phone especially if your a teenager and don’t make a wage!

Pros: A fabulous-looking slider phone that’s easier to use than most touch-screen phones.
Cons: The phone lacks a few key features and the InteractPad takes up too much of the display.
