Mobile Review: LG CU720 Shine Review
LG CU720 Shine
New LG Shine personifies its name perfectly. Not only does it shine, it positively gleams. It has a lovely polished-metal exterior and a downright sparkling mirror-finish display that exudes luxury and sophistication. In fact, you can use the display as a small compact mirror when the phone is in standby mode.
All we have to go on here is the model name — CU720 — and a couple of test reports, both confirming the presence of WCDMA 850 and 1900. Last we heard, the Shine slider had been sent back to the shop for some UI retooling, but with the launch originally planned for September, we’re banking on the CU720 getting officially official any day (or week, or month) now.
At most of it Combining glamorous form with advanced multimedia function, the LG CU720 Shine is available exclusively from AT&T. It also supports AT&T’s Video Share service, which offers a one-way video stream during a mobile-to-mobile phone call. This elegantly minimalist slider phone has a unique, reflective mirror finish that activates into a brilliantly colorful LCD screen and a brushed stainless steel housing. Other features include a 2-megapixel camera/camcorder, MicroSD memory card expansion, Bluetooth connectivity for both communication headsets and stereo music streaming, mobile email and instant messaging, and quad-band GSM network capability for global roaming.

Pre-loaded with services such as AT&T’s Video Share, Mobile Banking, and AT&T Mobile Music, the LG Shine appears ready to take on the world - or at least the holiday shopping season.
