The phone comes with a high resolution TFT LCD screen which provides a 256k colour display. The user can slide open the handset or press a button to activate the screen & see the outstanding quality display. The LG KG800 Chocolate comes with a user friendly 1.3 megapixel digital camera feature & the user can use the LCD screen as a viewfinder. The camera comes with a built in flash & 4 x digital zoom. The user can activate the camera feature by using the easily accessible camera button. The camera comes with a photo album for storing all the users snaps & with a multi shot mode which will take nine consecutive shots with one press of the camera button.

The LG KG800 Chocolate has a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera which is capable of taking pictures with a maximum resolution of 1280×960. The first thing you notice when you enter the camera mode and take your first picture is that the camera is quite slow to use. You have to hold the camera very steady for a couple of seconds to be sure that your picture ain’t just a blurry mess.

A sliding phone, when closed the Chocolate just looks mysterious. It’s dark, with a dark LCD screen, and justan LG logo and a silver OK button to give any clue about what to do with it. The hidden keypad is touch sensitive and glows red when in use. When opened, the full keypad is available. There are also buttons around the edge for volume control and multimedia - MP3, camera and video. The design works well and looks fantastic and impacts in a stylish way.

The comparison is also helped by the fact that the LG Chocolate KG800 is supplied with a soft drawstring pouch.

This all makes for very neat lines, but it is only half the story. The LG Chocolate KG800 is a slider with an extremely smooth spring loaded mechanism. When you push upper and lower halves apart a large number pad appears.

Apparently, those smart looking red keys on the front aren’t actually keys at all, but touchpad controls that light up when you slide open the screen. The music player works well and the handset itself is surprisingly light and compact. The one downer is the memory capacity, which is limited to 128MB with no recourse to memory cards if you run out of room.”
